Sensational and award winning duo, Peter and Paul of P’Square fame are set to join the expanded train of Glo Rock ‘n’ Rule concert which berths in Benin city this Saturday with its tonnes of fun and excitement.
News emanating from Globacom indicated that PSquare is being introduced to the multi-city concert in order to satisfy the yearning of youths across the country.
During the first Season of Glo Rock ‘n’ Rule, PSquare had featured prominently in several cities across the country and had given youths in these cities reasons to ask for more.
Apart from Benin, PSquare will also feature in the Glo Rock ‘n’ Rule concerts in Ilorin and Kaduna.
Other artistes who will be performing at the event in Benin this weekend include Wande Coal, J. Martins, Pelagie from Benin Republic and Chydinma.
The duo of Okey Bakassi and Basketmouth are also set to crack ribs at the event as anchors while DJ Jimmy will be on duty dishing out good tunes.
Apart from the music extravaganza, a pageant is also to be held to select Mr and Miss Rock ‘n’ Rule for the city. The competition is for bold and sassy youths between the 18 – 25-years age bracket.
Prizes for the Mr & Miss Rock ‘n’ Rule contest range from N250, 000 each for the male and female winners of the pageant to N150, 000 and N100, 000 for the 1st and 2nd runners up respectively.
Apart from these, several other youths will pick up mouth watering prizes including 21-inch colour TV sets in the Singing and Dancing competitions and Blackberry devices in the King of Swagger and Queen of Swagger contests.
So far, Enugu, Awka, Owerri, Calabar and Port Harcourt have hosted the Glo Rock ‘N’ Rule train.
